(Mainly for Flossy, Nik and Woody, but other feel free to add comments):
1) Meet up and put map together/finalise rules
2) What rules are we using?
a: Straight from PE booklet
b: Some form of Strategy Card system
c: Each player makes one "attack" on a particular tile each 'turn'
d: Other
3) Can we all commit to at least one game per month? Otherwise, any Campaign will last years!
4) Mercenary/secondary forces:
use or not? If so, are we happy with:
Orks (Eldar)
Tyranids (Chaos marines)
Daemon Hunters (UltraMarines)
Imperial Guard (Witch Hunters)

IM EASY, PROBABLY NOT C

you may need a OuiJa board as Russ doesn't get online much... but he was working on Nid army...
I have his number if anyone wants it... the extra player might help keep the games a rolling... shame there isn't anything to allow for a web based game for me! |

OK, lets use the standard rules to begin with, but with an option to revisit them later if we feel there is a problem.
Mick and Nick have options for Allies anyway (until a new inquisitor Codex comes out). Woody doesn't care for mercs. So it just leaves me with a few Eldar models ... it would be nice to keep Steve in the loop, even if it is only as my reinforcements!
Are we going to have any formal system of keeping numbers of games at least slightly consistent? Or just each of us play when we like and record it?
How much do we want each "tile" to affect the battle-board? Command Centres as Bastions, fortifications as barricades, etc?
Can we get together on a Sunday to finalise stuff? _________________ www.maddwarf.co.uk

Battle 2: Phil vs Woody 1500pts.
Tyranids:
Hive City:1
Manufactorium: 4+1=50
Power Station: 2+1=24
Command Bastion: 2+1=21
Shields: 5+1
Tiles: 14
Orks:
Hive City:0
Manufactorium: 2=18
Power Station: 1=9
Command Bastion: 3=18
Shields: 5
Tiles: 11
Manufactoriums: Tyranids have +2 = 100 pts.
Power Stations: Tyranids have +2 = 2 rolls to get USR (Must be different, and applied to different units)
Command Bastions: Tyranids have +1 to deploy/reserve.
Tiles: Tyranids have +3 = Orks get +150 pts.
Woody wants to play at 1500 pts, so balance his +100 and my +150 to just me getting +50. _________________ www.maddwarf.co.uk

| I though my extra terretories would start holding me back but I would happily trade 50 points for plus 1 reserve, and I get 2 chnaces at special rules..... Amazing...... |
